Musical past: Despite numerous attempts my dad made to get me to play acoustic guitar, I didn't start playing a musical instrument until I was 15, when I bought a Fender Strat. Then, a few months later, I decided to try my hand at drumming. To my surprise, I didn't suck at it (too much). So now I'm the drummer for 5Fingerpole.

Musical influences: After seeing them do a perfectly-synced double drum solo, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters are my drumming heroes. What I'd give to be that fast.... As for guitar, Offspring, Blink-182, and any other punk bands who rely solely on power chords are my biggest influences. I suppose if I was ever able to write songs, Metallica, Offspring, Blink-182, and Pearl Jam would be my biggest influences. But...I can't write songs worth beans.
